The M-43 service shoes, known as "TYPE III", worn by Steve McQueen in the movie "The Great Escape", have been completely reissued with a brushed-up last (wooden pattern) and leathers.
In addition to the hand-welted manufacturing method, which requires high skills, 23 nails are nailed into the sole and 13 nails into the heel to pursue robustness.
You will feel the unique construction of military shoes every time you take a step.
